Mission Statement [Top]
We strive to be a Bible-centered resource for the Irish Church as it seeks to accomplish the Great Commission in developing mature followers of Christ and equipping leaders to serve worldwide. We will do this by…
- Facilitating awareness of the benefits of church-based theological training,
-  Producing and printing quality resources and offering support for same,
-  Encouraging local pastors and leaders of the importance of equipping people for the work of ministry,
-  Holding seminars to help nurture and equip God’s people.

We Value…[Top]
-  Worship as the end of any academic pursuit – Our desire is not simply the acquisition of knowledge, but rather that a deeper understanding of who God is will lead to a deeper worship of Him and a life that reflects His character.

-  The Bible as God’s revealed Word - Our desire is that everything in our course work would reinforce the idea that the Bible is the sole basis for any and all spiritual growth in the life of any believer; whether church leader or layperson.

-  Ireland and Irish leaders – Our desire is that God would raise up national leaders who can critically engage their own culture in seeking to accomplish His purposes in Ireland and the world.

-  God’s global perspective - Believing that God is globally-minded, we desire that equipped believers and leaders would have a desire to see His Name glorified in other parts of the world, and would be active in going and speaking that Name.

-  The maturity of every believer - Our desire is that every believer would move to maturity in Christ, being transformed in their knowledge of God, worship of Him, and personal character.

-  Fully trained leaders - Our desire is to see future church leaders trained in areas of Bible, theology,  leadership, and practical ministry skills so that they may possess the tools to be effective leaders in churches.

-  Training that is centered in the local church - We value the importance of practical ministry experience and desire that leaders would learn without having to leave their current context of ministry in the local church.

-  Interactive learning – Our desire is to produce a forum in which ideas are shared in a small group setting; facilitated by a trained leader, not lecture driven.

-  Evangelical theology – Our desire is to be thoroughly evangelical in all of our writings and teachings. Please see our statement of faith for a detailed description.

-  Servant leadership - Our desire is that God would raise up servant leaders who reflect the character of Christ.

-  Unity in essentials and grace in everything else - Our material is written from the perspective of our statement of faith, but we desire that it could be used by a variety of groups.

-  Excellence in all things - We desire to do all things with excellence as if working for the Lord and not men.

Doctrinal Commitments [Top]
God:
God is One, the only God, eternally living in three persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, co-eternal and co-equal. The Father is fully God; His fatherhood is eternal and personal. He is the Father of our Lord Jesus and of all who believe in Christ.
[Gen. 1:1; Ex. 34:6-7; Ps. 11:7; 90:2; 115:3; Is. 6:3, 5; 40; Matt. 28:18-19; Jn. 1:1, 14, 18; 17:3; Eph. 1:3-14; Col. 1:15-20; 2:9; Heb. 1:3; 1 Jn. 5; 2 Jn.]

Jesus Christ:
Jesus Christ is the only Son of God. Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a sinless human life, and offered Himself as the perfect and complete sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He is fully God and fully man without mixture or confusion. He rose from the dead physically, demonstrating His victory over sin and death, then ascended to God’s throne where He presently intercedes for us. One day He will personally and visibly return to reign as King of Kings.
[Isa. 53:4-12; Matt. 24; Lk. 1:30-35; 24:36-43; Jn. 1:18; 3:16; Acts 1:9-11; 4:12; Rom. 3:25-26; 1 Cor. 15:3-8; Phil. 2:5-8; 3:20-21; Col. 1:13-20; 1 Tim. 2:5-6; Heb. 1:3; 4:15; 7:25; 1 Pet. 3:18; 1 Jn. 2:1-2]

Holy Spirit:
The Holy Spirit is equal in deity and person with God the Father and the Son. As the living Holy Spirit, He moved the human authors of the Bible to write God’s Word. He makes people aware of their need for Jesus Christ, performs the miracle of new birth, and comes to live in every Christian the moment they trust in Jesus Christ. He unites all Christians into the one Body of Christ providing each of them with power for service, understanding of spiritual truth, and comfort in life’s trials.
[Gen. 1:2; Jn. 14:16-17; 16:7-13; Acts 1:8; 1 Cor. 3:16; 12:13; 2 Cor. 3:17; Gal. 5:25; Eph. 1:13; 4:4-6; 2 Pet. 1:20-21]

Human Beings:
People are created in the image of God, to be like Him in character. However, all of us by nature are marred by sin that alienates us from God, makes us liable for His judgment, and ultimately results in eternal death apart from God’s salvation.
[Gen. 1:26; 3; 6:5; Ps. 14:1-3; 51:5; Jer. 17:9; Jn. 6:53; Rom. 3:9-20; 6:23; 8:6-7; Eph. 2:1-3; 1 Jn. 3:8]

Salvation:
Salvation is God’s gracious free gift that He offers to us all. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ alone can we be forgiven for our sins, overcome our alienation from God, be saved from God’s judgment and begin an eternal relationship with God. The moment we turn from our self-ruled life to Jesus Christ in faith, we are saved, born again as children of God.
[Jn. 1:12; 3:16, 18, 36; 5:24; 6:29; Acts 13:39; 16:31; Rom. 5:8; 6:23; 1 Cor. 15:20-57; Eph. 2:8-9; Rev. 21-22]

Eternity:
People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin in hell, or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation in heaven. Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence.
[Lk. 16:19-26; 23:42; Jn. 14:1-3; Rom. 8:19-23; 1 Cor. 15:51-52; 2 Cor. 5:8; Phil. 1:23; 3:20; 1 Thess. 4:13-18; 2 Thess. 1:9-10; Jude 6-7; Rev. 20: 1-3, 11-15]

Church:
The Church is the family of God, the Body of Christ, and the Temple of the Holy Spirit created by God to show His glory on the earth by reaching out to people who do not know Him, lifting up worship to Him, loving each other as His family, growing in maturity to be like Christ, and serving others in His Name. The Church celebrates the baptism of born again believers and the Lord’s Table, symbols of His sacrificial payment for sin, until He comes again.
[Matt. 16:16-18; Matt. 28:19; Mk. 16:15; Lk. 22:19-20; Jn. 20:21; Acts 1:8; 2:42-47; 18:7-8; Rom. 12:5; 1 Cor. 11:23-26; 12:12-27; Eph. 1:20-23; 4:3-10; Col. 3:14-15]

Bible:
The Bible is God’s revelation to us written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit, so that it is without error in the original manuscripts and is unable even to teach error. The Bible is our supreme and final authority in all matters about which it speaks.
[Matt. 5:18; Jn. 5:39; 10:35; 17:17; Acts 17:2-3; 18:28; 26:22-23; Rom. 15:4; 1 Cor. 2:12-13; 1 Thess. 2:13; 2 Tim. 3:16-17; 2 Pet. 1:20-21]
